Momiji-gari

It means 'maple-tree viewing'.
a program of Noh play, later Kabuki. It is based on a legend of oni extermination in Mt. Togakushi, Nagano, Japan.
Summary; In Heian period, Tairano Koremochi a military commander went to Mt. Togakushi for hunting, then he met beautiful women who gave a banquet. In fact, they were oni (demons). Koremochi was very close to a crisis because of liquor and their charm, but finally Koremochi defeated them with the help of god.
